Links
There are many websites which provide important information suitable for use by laymen and lawyers. Here is a selection of them. The problem with them is that they are not always up-to-date and they should be used with care. Even the professional sites, only available to those who pay enormous fees for their use, are not always totally accurate because English Law is in a constant state of flux.
UKLawyers: www.uklawyers.co.uk
This is my news site and a good example of a site which could be more up-to-date. I maintained my News site for many years but eventually found it too difficult to maintain. My weekly newsletter was distributed to over a thousand lawyers and was very popular. I will start this project again when I get time and when I can work out how to make it profitable.
E-Solicitors: www.e-solicitors.co.uk
My original site, an ambitious attempt to make a law site for everyman. An impossible task for a busy lawyer working in full-time employment for the benefit of my clients. It was an interesting idea and you can look through the work I did on it here.
BNI - Business Networking International
I am a member of this organisation being Membership Co-ordinator of the Ilkley More Chapter from April to October 2008.
If you want to join the Ilkley More Chapter contact me and I can arrange for you to attend as a visitor to see how things are done. It is a really good way to expand your business. Here are links to:

Resolution: www.resolution.org.uk
An organisation of family lawyers celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008. Its main ethos is to ensure that family disputes are resolved with as little animosity as possible. All its members are committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. We follow a Code of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems. Our members encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family - and in particular the best interests of children.
Solicitors for the Elderly: www.solicitorsfortheelderly.com
This is a group of lawyers who specialise in helping elderly clients with the problems which uniquely affect them I have been member almost since its inception and regularly monitor the internet forum which discusses the work which we do.
